In 1998, Alain Castagnol supported by a group of principally family shareholders bought the "Foyer Lades" company. New management decided to change its trade marks and logo in the year 2000, and this company became Totem Fire SA as the company name and TOTEM as the trademark. In 2006, Totem Fire SA chose the SAS (simplified joint stock company) status with a share capital of 300,000 Euros.

A company on a human scale entirely dedicated to one sole business the manufacture of top quality chimney fireplaces. Our technical knowledge is based on special sheet metal work. This remains artisanal in nature, even if we rely on advanced techniques such as laser sheet metal cutting or computer-aided design.

All of our products are compliant with the NF EN 13229 standards in effect today; we guarantee our products for a period of 5 years. We design all our fireplaces so that they are as discrete as possible when they have been installed in the chimney-piece. They are made using special steel and are fitted with high-resistance heat-proof bricks so as to improve the control of thermal exchanges.

Totem Fire SAS relies on a network of professional distributors-installers in order to distribute its chimney fireplaces. These fireplace installers design, create and install chimneys to anyone's taste from cut stone, marble and granite, but also from staff or steel in complete safety.
